Hi, I’m Laura an elite specialist personal trainer (REPs/CIMSPA level 4 qualified) and nutrition specialist (AFN qualified) with extensive experience in personal training and prescribing healthy nutrition to all age groups from all walks of life with differing needs.
I am specialised in specific training approaches such as circuit, core, suspension, functional and kettle training. Additionally, I deliver spinning training as I am a qualified Mad Dogg Athletics spinning instructor.
I am also a qualified low back pain exercise specialist and can accept GP referrals in order to work with clients who suffer from one or more of the following conditions: low back pain, cardiovascular disease, cancer (in rehabilitation phase or undergoing chemotherapy), hypertension, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, joint replacements, stress, anxiety, depression, obesity, diabetes (type 1 & 2), respiratory disease, musculoskeletal conditions and mental health.
When it comes to training and nutrition, authentic coaching and education is the key to seeing results that last forever. It’s my mission to provide the best coaching, education and accountability to guarantee you achieve the results you came to me for. I use my communication background to motivate people towards a healthier life - one that embraces movement and getting a handle on nutrition.
I am myself a sports fan, having undergone the hard training to complete various marathons, duathlons, triathlons (Ironman 70.3), and I’m currently in the process of training for my first full distance Ironman (140.6) in 2020!

It’s understandable that the gym can be an intimidating place for some and it’s not always easy to know where to start or who to ask. I can therefore provide different training approaches that don’t necessarily require a gym environment which can be performed at home or outdoors. I’ll give you the emotional tools to gain in confidence and together we will reveal the strong, fit frame you know is there.
No matter your objective: athletic, endurance, strength, muscle gain, weight loss, rehabilitation, general health, your goal is my goal and I’m here to help you achieve it. We will define realistic and achievable objectives and focus on exercises based on movement patterns that will boost your metabolism, lengthen your muscles and facilitate a natural body adaptation. This will enable me to create sessions tailored to your ability for sustainable results.

Nutrition is more a way of living than a specific weight number on the scales. I will show you not only how to attain your goal but how it actually works on a daily basis, incorporating an understanding of nutrition into how you learn. You won’t just reach your desired weight but you’ll also understand why in the process.
The best way to lose, gain or maintain weight is with a personalised plan based on the foods that you enjoy whilst keeping in mind the calories you need to reach your desired weight. When your calories are in-line with your objective and workouts, you are likely to accelerate results. Also, by learning to plan meals and control portions, you will be able to create a sustainable habit that allows you to manage your fitness for a lifetime - you will benefit and those around you will get the best of you.
